Making The Most Of Your Open House
So you have decided with your Realtor to hold an open house.
It will be up to me to announce, advertise and promote the open house to drive as much traffic as possible to your home.
Family members, including the furry ones, should not be home during the open house time window. This is often from 2-4 pm on a Saturday or Sunday but can be held on other days and times as needed.
I would have asked in preparation to be listed for sale that you put away all valuables and breakables. This is as important during your open house.
By this point, we would have also removed any personal items and extra clutter to create space in the process of ‘staging’ your home for the market.
Together, we will ensure that your home is sparkly clean and smelling nice and inviting!
We will definitely keep the lights on, the curtains open and may have some light mood music in the background.
The outside definitely matters so extra attention will be given to your exterior to make sure those prospective buyers want to come in.

I of course will be there to answer any questions that someone may have and to point out all the wonderful features of your home and neighbourhood.
The goal is to make a great first impression, enticing buyers to book a private visit to your home and bring in that offer!
